Jason Dawe and the rest of his coaching staff are extremely excited to announce that we will instruct two separate camps in 2012 that will take place at the Northtown Center in Amherst, NY. Our first camp will be offered from July 30 - August 3 for players who have birth years from 2006-2003. Please understand that this is NOT a learn to skate program. As is the case with all of our camps, each day we work on explosive skating, edge work, pivoting, puck handling, shooting, battle drills and balance training. The players who attend this camp need to be able to skate unassisted around the rink with their full equipment on.
This particular camp offers 7.5 hours (1.5 hours per day) of on-ice for the week. Camp activities also include daily off ice training, outdoor team games, proper nutritional education, and classroom motivational discussions on how to reach your ultimate potential (please see the camp video below). Every child will be challenged all week by kids comparable to their skill level and ability. This format has become very popular at our other camp locations because there is very little standing around. We expect every hockey player who attends our camps to show respect for not only all of the other players in the camp but also the coaching staff and the facility where we will be holding the camp as well. Please understand when signing up that this is NOT a child day care and we have zero tolerance for anything less. A refund will not be rewarded if this is at all an issue!
The cost of the camp is $250 per player which comes with a Jason Dawe Pro Hockey Camp jersey. The camp itinerary is below.
